I hate to admit this, but the other day something possessed me to search YouTube for Steven Seagal videos. I really regret it, because this is what I found: I knew Steven Seagal dabbled in music, but I didn’t know that he had actually recorded stuff for public consumption. I don’t blame anyone for not watching [...] Blue Zinfandel is the third WordPress theme I have applied to this site in the past week. The first theme didn’t properly format <br> and <p> tags, the second theme couldn’t properly align images and now the current theme can’t do unordered lists. Supposedly, the creator of Blue Zinfandel is doing an upgrade, so maybe I’ll wait. [...] Conservapedia’s latest debacle – a proposed conservative translation of the Bible – has been making the rounds lately. Oddly enough, I first read about it at WorldMag.com, a conservative Christian site. They weren’t too happy about it, either. My initial reaction to the story was, “Cool! Conservapedia finally relaxed their registration policy and now the trolls [...] Pretty awesome mastery of what many consider to be a novelty instrument. Don’t be intimidated by the clip’s 20 minute length – at least watch the first 4 minutes… Last week, an opinion piece appeared in my local paper, The Corpus Christi Caller-Times, entitled, “For the record, we back Perry 100 degrees … er, percent”. The local paper doesn’t have it archived online, but it can be read in its entirety at Austin American-Statesman. The piece is a tongue-in-cheek endorsement of Governor Rick Perry’s re-election [...] I don’t know why I keep Yahoo as my home page. Old habits die hard, I guess; I’ve had it for my homepage for at least 10 years now and have never happened upon a page that screamed, “Hey! Let me be your homepage from now on!” Every now and then shit shows up on Yahoo’s [...] Remember Daniel Martin, the Oklahoma State Trooper who was suspended for 5 days and forced to undergo anger management counseling after he was caught on tape choking an EMT because he didn’t pull over fast enough?
