Poor Jane Velez-Mitchell. She’s basically the farm club version of Nancy Grace. No matter how nutty she is, an hour later, Ms. Grace will appear on the screen and make Jane seem cool, calm and collected by comparison. It’s not because she doesn’t try, though; lately, Jane Velez-Mitchell has stepped up her game in a very subtle manner.
This post has nothing to do with Robin Meade, but since it’s about Headline News, I figured I shouldn’t waste a chance to post a picture of the only person worth looking at on that network.
I’m not so sadistic that I would expect readers to sit through almost 9 minutes of Jane & Friends screwing their faces in righteous indignation over Jon Gosselin, so all I ask is that you do this: Press “play”, then pause the video and let it load. Then push the slider up to around 4:45, and watch Jane’s hand at 4:48.
That’s right, Jane Velez-Mitchell got herself a gavel, as if to say, “It’s about to get all justice-y up in here, motherfuckers!”
I can only hope that Nancy Grace notices this and decides she has to out-crazy her colleague. It would certainly kick up the crazy a notch if Nancy were to start wearing one of those British judge’s wigs during her show. It would be quite fitting, too, since Nancy Grace seems to have fuck all to do with the American justice system.
Incidentally, I was going to devote a healthy portion of this post to how ugly Jane Velez-Mitchell is, but I read somewhere that she’s a lesbian, meaning she has the fashion sense of a heterosexual male, therefore she can’t be held responsible for how she looks.
